The Faculty of Pharmacy was established in 1991.

The Faculty of Pharmacy was established in 1991. The Master programme in Pharmacy lasts five years and is based on a credit system. The Faculty of Pharmacy is a member of the Association of European Pharmacy Schools and graduates of the university meet all the requirements for the profession as defined by the European Union.

During the first 2 years of teaching, students review and broaden their knowledge of basic physical and medical issues to the level required to understand specific topics from the field of Pharmacy. Students attend lectures and seminars, also practice in pharmacies. During the following years of studies they are working on their dissertation. The program ends with the defense of their dissertation and the final state examination. Students are then awarded the Master's degree (Mgr. Abbreviation). The curriculum complies with EU Directive 2005/36 / EC. Graduates awarded with the postgraduate diploma may later sit for a thorough state examination including an advanced defense of a dissertation. Afterwards, they are awarded the Doctor of Pharmacy degree abbreviation PharmDr.). Graduates can apply for postgraduate study programs in five accredited branches of Pharmacy. After defending their dissertation and passing the final state examination, they are awarded the Doctorate Diploma.

Entry conditions: Candidates for the School of Pharmacy must be graduates of secondary education. Candidates must pass the entrance examinations including written examinations in Biology and Chemistry at secondary level.

Tuition fees are € 6,700 per year.
