Olomouc

Olomouc is a fairly big city, of 100,000 inhabitants. Bordering with the Jeseniky mountains, is stretched along the banks of river Morava and it is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the Czech Republic with stunning sceneries, romantic paths, fountains, natural lakes and numerous parks.

Beyond the beauty of nature, Olomouc has a rich cultural and historical heritage to share with churches, memorials and ancient monuments. The cultural life of the city offers an astounding selection of theatres, multiplex cinemas, libraries, orchestras and music in general, just to mention a few. One may enjoy a great selection of cafes and restaurants as well as Olomouc’s modern sport facilities, like swimming pools, cycling and running paths, ice skating rings, tennis courts and many more. Prague, Vienna and Krakow are a mere two hours away by train or bus.
